Join us at Palermo on Wednesday 22nd of April at 6pm for a special evening celebrating Argentina’s most iconic grape. While World Malbec Day is officially recognised on April 17, we’re continuing the festivities with an immersive Malbec tasting dinner dedicated to the bold wines that define Argentina’s renowned wine culture.
This premium event includes a five-course dinner paired with four exceptional Malbecs, guided by our in-house wine expert Gonzalo Larre of Vino Del Mundo Wines, who will lead guests through an engaging tasting and information session exploring Argentina’s renowned wine regions.
Malbec found its true home in Argentina in the 19th century, thriving in the high-altitude vineyards of Mendoza and beyond. Today, it’s the country’s signature varietal, known for its deep colour, rich fruit and smooth finish.
Our leading chefs Jack Tildesley and Dolan Morris have carefully crafted a beautiful five-course menu including rustic pan de campo (traditional Gaucho bread), smoked trout escabeche and more to complement the stunning wines. The centrepiece is Palermo’s signature asado lamb shoulder, slow-cooked over fire all day, with a malbec and mint chimichurri and paired with a powerful Gran Reserva Malbec.
Tickets are $159 per person and include:
• Five-course Malbec-inspired dinner
• Four premium wine tastings
• Guided information session
• Take-home gift bag
A cultural celebration of Argentina’s most famous wine, this intimate event is perfect for both seasoned wine lovers and curious newcomers. Seats are limited.
